We are excited that you have expressed an interest in pursuing your undergraduate degree at Southern university—Baton Rouge (SUBR). We know that you may have applied to more than one college/university to give yourself several options. Therefore, we are honored that you have chosen SUBR to pursue your post-secondary degree. It is with great anticipation that you will allow the University College faculty and staff the opportunity to usher you through your first two years of academic programs. We believe that we can provide the foundation that will prepare you to fully benefit from the competitive, high quality education that SUBR has to offer.
Jaguar Preview 2009: New Beginnings...Endless Opportunities is coordinated by the Center for Student Success (CSS), the retention unit for the University’s Division of Enrollment Management. Our goal is to ultimately make your matriculation at SUBR one that will be fulfilling, rewarding and memorable.
Jaguar Preview was especially designed to facilitate your transition. It is essential to get off to a great start and we applaud you for making this very important first step. Participating in Jaguar Preview provides the opportunity for you, as a new student, to become acclimated to the SUBR living and learning community prior to the start of your undergraduate career.
